ABOUT AIRSHIP
Airship is an independent family business with four cafes and a roastery, all located in Bentonville, Arkansas and is owned and operated by Mark and Amber Bray. After working on sustainable agriculture projects with coffee growers throughout Central America, Mark and Amber started roasting coffee in a popcorn popper in their garage in 2008 and moved into a small warehouse in downtown Bentonville in 2012. As the community grew, so did the need for great coffee and welcoming places to enjoy it. We opened our first cafe on 5th Street at the roastery in 2018, then Airship at Coler in 2020, Airship at the Ledger in 2022 and in 2023, Airship at the Pumphouse.
Our mission is:
Making a place where authentic community thrives.
We are makers; embracing a hands-on approach to making coffee and other delicious food and beverages. But even more than product, we are making a place. When we talk about place, we aren’t only referring to the beautiful physical spaces we’ve built, but also the space we are creating for relationships to flourish, the space where guests feel welcome and cared for. For us, authenticity happens when people are true to form, contributing their best selves for mutual benefit within the community. We see each person's willingness to share their uniqueness as the key to our community’s capacity to thrive. We simply want to do our part to make a place where that can happen.
