Tasting Notes: Strawberry Blossom - Rose - White Tea
An experimental honey processed Colombian coffee combining delicate floral acidity with a clean tea-like body into one delicious cup.
This experimental micro-lot was grown by Jairo Arcila, a third-generation coffee grower from Quindio, Colombia. Growing from one farm to five over the last 35 years, Jairo also grows mandarin oranges, plantains, and bananas on his farms.
This coffee was exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation period of 72 hours with the pulp on. During that fermentation, strawberry and wine yeast were introduced which lead to striking berry notes in the cup.
